Since the inception “Subodhi” has been the shelter and safety for the many senior citizens that came under the roof of the home.

On the Medin Full Moon day of 21st of March 2011, The Subodhi Senior Citizens Home was Inaugurated by the Ven Siymbalapitiye Jinarathana Thero along with the officers of the Foundation and with the blessings of the Most Valued Donors. The humble beginning of the Home was at 46/2, Alwis Uyana, Shri Gnanendra Road, Ratmalana.

Our Home has enlightened the hearts and minds of many Senior Citizens of the country, our registration number of Social Services Department is P/N/S/S/11/157, we are supervised by All Ceylon Social Power Foundation.

Many Senior Citizens who are being referred by the Social Services Department and many other elders referred by their families are being well taken cared by the Home.  All these present and past residents feels homely at our Subodhi situated at 25/3, C.S.A. Perera Mawatha, Uyana, Moratuwa. This is facilitated also by the funds received from the valued donors.
